District Investigative Units

District Investigations consists of men and women who have a desire to be challenged and are assigned to each of the 4 district substations throughout the county. District detectives are responsible for, but not limited to, the investigations of mostly property crimes such as burglaries and grand thefts. They also investigate aggravated batteries, strong arm robberies, missing persons and arsons. District detectives work closely with road patrol deputies on crime scenes as well as other support units in the Sheriff’s Office such as the Major Crimes Unit and the Narcotics Unit.
