The E911 Section comprises of the 9-1-1 Administrator and 9-1-1 Database Analysis. Each individual component has separate but interlocking responsibilities that include developing, coordinating and maintaining the County’s 911 Emergency telephone infrastructure from the backbone to the workstation, components, databases, and all supporting elements.

E911 is responsible for analyzing street addressing for geographical response, ensuring the development, security and integrity of the 9-1-1-database technology and systems. High volume of data entry is performed for the maintenance of a mapping system to provide enhancements to assist in delivery of accurate location information to enhance the integrity of the 9-1-1 databases.
