Jennifer Scott has been a resident of Charlotte County, Florida since 1984, and graduated from Port Charlotte High School, Class of 1989.
Jennifer started her career with the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office in 1990, where she was assigned to the Communications Division as a dispatcher from
1990-1995. In Civil, she was assigned to the road serving legal process, and later to the office handling all aspects of legal process.
In 2002, Jennifer Scott was promoted to the position of Director of Civil, until 2008, when she was accepted the position of
Courts/Legal Administrator. Jennifer Scott supervises the day to day activities of the Civil Division, Domestic Violence Division, Court Liaison, and the Court Security area.
Her education includes extensive training in the area of Legal Process, in addition to a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice, a minor in
Psychology, as well as an Undergraduate Certificate in Emergency and Disaster Management, from Lynn University.
