Lt. Jeffrey S. Sisk

Lt. Jeffrey Sean Sisk began his career in Corrections with the Charlotte Correctional Institution in 1989. In 1991 he took a position with the Desoto Correctional Institution until hired by the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office in 1992. In 1992, he established a career path in Corrections w orking his way from floor deputy to his current position as Watch Commander.

As Watch Commander, his responsibilities include planning and scheduling personnel, reviewing operations for adequacy and effectiveness, improving and/or take corrective action for those that are deficient, supervising a large number of certified and non-certified staff members, maintaining the integrity and operations of the jail facility as well as keeping the general public safe from harms way.

Lt. Sisk is dual certified as a Law Enforcement Officer and is currently seeking a degree in Criminal Justice. He recently graduated from FDLE Senior Leadership Class 13.
