The Juvenile Operations Unit consists of School Resource Officers, Crossing Guards, and the Police Athletic League. The unit is designed to provide youth services,
resources for parents, and liaison with community service providers. One of the functions of the Juvenile Operations Unit is the prevention of crime. An emphasis is
placed upon educating the community youth to prevent not only victimization, but curb juvenile crime. By providing knowledge, we empower our youth to make decisions
that demonstrate their personal commitment to positive civic engagement. Our youth are taught that they have a significant role in campus safety, community development,
and personal choices.
