Lt. Norman Wilson began his career with the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office in 1993 as a Corrections Officer. He has since then held positions as a Training Corporal, Training Sergeant, Internal Affairs Sergeant, Corrections Watch Commander, and currently holds the position as Support Services Commander. Lt. Wilson is also the Commander of the Corrections Emergency Response Team (CERT) and Team Leader of the Dive/Recovery Unit.

Prior to joining the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, Lt. Wilson was in the United States Navy as a Medic. In the Navy, Lt. Wilson also specialized in Emergency Medical Operations for Cardiac and Trauma Treatment, Marine Corps Recovery Unit, and Psychiatric Care for Alcoholics, Overeaters, and drug abusers.
