The Operational Support Division accounts for almost half of the personnel assigned under the Bureau of Support Services. While the Division is a mix of both uniformed and
civilian members, it is staffed predominantly with Law Enforcement Officers and civilians volunteers who bring a wide range of skill sets to this division. Operational Support is
divided into eight smaller sections and units:
Officers working in these areas provide assistance to our Bureau of Law Enforcement in the areas of investigation and specialized services. These officers are
often "behind the scenes," yet play an important role in solving crimes in our county.
