Planning and Research works closely with Command staff and the Sheriff to plan for the future growth, development and funding of programs related to the law enforcement and corrections missions. This includes data collection and analysis, making application for grants and alternative funding, budgeting, goal setting, resource allocation and a wide variety of reporting to show compliance with accreditation standards.
