The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office is trying to identify the human skeletal remains found on Zemel Road near the Charlotte County Land Fill on January 6, 2002. The case is being investigated as a homicide, but the identity of the victim is unknown.

The victim is beleived to be a white or Hispanic male between the ages of 35-55, weighing between 150lbs-180lbs, standing 5'06"-5'09", with dark hair. The remains have been determined to have been there for approximately 6 to 10 weeks.
