- Bicycle Anti-Theft Program
The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office encourages you to register your bicycle in the Sheriff's Office Bicycle Anti-Theft (B.A.T.)Program. These registrations are entered into a data-base. The bicycle is equipped with a tamper proof sticker for identification in the event of loss or theft of the bicycle.
You can register your bicycle at any of the Sheriff's District Offices located at: District I,6868 San Casa Rd., Englewood; Mid-County, 3280 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte; District III, 7474 Utilities Rd., Punta Gorda; or Community Relations, Port Charlotte Town Center Mall.
You may also register your bicycle at:
- Cycle Haus, 2208 El Jobean Rd,Port Charlotte
- Acme Bicycle, 1700 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte
- Acme Bicycle, 615 Cross Street, Punta Gorda
- Bicycle Center of Port Charlotte, 3795 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte
