Charlotte County Traffic Areas of Concentration from November 16th through November 22nd, 2009.

Nov 11, 2009 - The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office will be paying special attention to Traffic Enforcement in the following areas from November 16th through November 22nd, 2009.

Speed Enforcement:

The entire length of Bermont Rd. (In 2008 there were 32 crashes on this section of roadway involving 48 vehicles injuring 25 and causing $230,800.00 in damage.)

S.R. 776 from U.S. 41 to the ElJobean Bridge. (In 2008 there were 61 crashes on this section of roadway involving 129 vehicles injuring 58 people and causing $398,800.00 in damage.)

Traffic Light Enforcement:

U.S. 41 and Toledo Blade. (In 2008 there were 38 crashes at this intersection involving 76 vehicles, injuring 24 persons and resulting in $174,210.00 in damage).

Jones Loop Rd. and Taylor Rd. (In 2008 there were 13 crashes at this intersection involving 24 vehicles injuring 3 people, killing one person and causing $58,800.00 in damage
