Parking Enforcement Volunteers
JOB DUTIES Attends Meetings. Issues Parking Tickets/Citations. Maintains Records. Testifies in Court. Walks /Drives through Parking lots, etc. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Ability to complete a 40 hour block on Parking Enforcement Ability to deal effectively with the public. Ability to operate all equipment listed in the EQUIPMENT USED section. Ability to operate Communications radio. Ability to testify in court. Ability to write out Tickets/Citations and maintain records. Knowledge of Florida State Statute/County ordinances that deal parking. REQUIREMENTS At least 21 years of age Resident of the state of Florida Successful Completion of Background Investigation Valid Florida driver's license PHYSICAL EFFORT REQUIRED Walking, Standing, Writing, Bending, stooping or carrying of light objects. WORKING CONDITIONS Works in all types of weather conditions.

To apply for a volunteer position such as Parking Enforcement, COPS, Explorers etc, please download and complete our
volunteer application, using the same instructions as above. These positions
do not require an oral board.
