By 1997 when this photograph was taken the Sheriff's Office had expanded at the 25500 Airport Road site. Although the size of the main administrative building remained the same, the jail section located on the back of the administrative building had been increased from the original 3 sections. Secure pods were added to provide more space for the overcrowded County Jail. Originally the only outlying building had been a 2-bay garage to the left of the complex. By 1997, additional buildings had been added on the left side of the complex to house the Major Crimes Unit, the garage and the District 3 offices. The large building on the right side of the complex was the Evidence Unit. The area in the upper right portion of the photograph was the Training Building and range area. When this photograph was taken, the Sheriff's Office had three other district offices located elsewhere within the county.
