Take Me Home

A new and innovative program to aid in safeguarding lost individuals.

Charlotte County Sheriff's Office modeled their Take Me Home program after the Pensacola Police Department's program.

This program is to assist those who are unable to speak for themselves for whatever the reason such as Alzheimer's Dementia, Autism or Down syndrome. Information will be stored in our computer system only accessible by Sheriff's deputies or 911 operators to aid in getting the lost party home. If your loved one has gone missing and you are signed up in the program, we can immediately get the photo and description out on the street to search more accurately. Take Me Home is free to all Charlotte County citizens.

This is not a tracking program like our Project Lifesaver, which is still available. Call Tammy Wilkie at 941-787-4975 For more information.
